Door Dash Girl

ree

Door Dash girl who is actually @Irlmonsterhighdoll  on TikTok or Olivia (Livy) Henderson blew up on TikTok with a lot of controversy over a TikTok she posted accusing a man of flashing her and showing the evidence.

While Livy was working for Door Dash she took a job where when she arrived at the Duplex she found the customers door wide open and he was allegedly asleep on the couch in full view with his pants and underwear down. Livy believes this is because he saw a female name on the delivery and prepared for her arrival. This led Livy to feel SA’d and she filmed the encounter which got posted on TikTok.

The video was taken down by TikTok and her account received a strike as it went against their guidelines due to the nudity. That said, others have twisted this to believe she has taken down the video and attempted to change and reupload it to make herself appear better.

What was actually uploaded was her attempt at reuploading the video after having it taken down.

What, to me, seems to be a conspiracy theory is that there was some ring door bell catching video of her pushing open his door and/or entering the residence which from what I’ve seen appears to be false. There’s no such video available showing this.

There were also rumours that she pushed the door open because of a cropped image from her original post attempted to make it appear as if the door was open a crack not all the way. Even with this though, I still don’t see why you would leave your door cracked open and go to sleep half naked on your couch. She also stated it was cold out and he was in a duplex where anyone else could have come and gone or seen.

Originally she reported the incident to Door Dash but unlike other times she experienced issues, she didn’t immediately hear back. She’d originally meant to waiting to see how Door Dash preferred to handle things but after receiving encouragement online she reported it to the police.

An officer did come to see her and the video and originally simply asked her what she’d like to do for instance pressing charges. Livy wanted to, thinking of trying to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the future. The officer had then also stated he’d visit the other resident.

The law in this case seems to go based on New York's version of dealing with public nudity which is called Public Lewdness. This reveres to exposing yourself to anyone whether it be in public or if you make a private place open to the public by appearing naked for example, in your car or in your doorway or window.

It wasn’t considered SA without touch being involved which caused people to run with the theory no crime was really committed which I wouldn’t say is exactly true. They’ve minimalized her experience which victim yourself or not, it’s not for anyone to say how an individual should handle or feel when something like this happens to them.

It also seemed to be it’s conspiracy to have many possible bot accounts really dog piling on her to claim she’s lying, that it happened different or otherwise attempt to discredit and bully her.

Following all of this, Door Dash actually deactivated her account and at first had hold of her earrings. They didn’t explain why she was fired and refused to answer when she’d call and attempt to find out.

Eventually, they posted online explaining that whole they stand by victims of possible SA they fired Livy due to her posting a customer online. While they also mentioned deactivating the custom-Livy called him Austin-account, it really leaves them attempting to distance themselves from everything and punishing Livy more for her experience then the customer for his actions.

They also didn’t tell Livy the reason for her firing in private first, they made it public and she found out with everyone else as others even saw this before her and alerted to the posts. She did at least get her funds returned.

Livy was eventually led to release a very emotional response to the backlash and the loss of her job which led others to discredit her further as in the wrong with proof from Door Dash’s statement and unstable.

It didn’t help when later Livy was also charged for her part in releasing the video of the half naked man online and especially uncensored.

So, I agree she shouldn’t have posted an uncensored video online for anyone to see. The same argument that has been made that children for instance could have walked by and seen the man with his door open also applies to Livy’s video online. That said, I understand her filming as evidence otherwise I don’t believe the police would have done anything otherwise, not that they seem to have now either. People online also wouldn’t believe her without evidence. I also get the emotional breakdown following losing her job and everyone coming at her online. I don’t have to guess, I know, that if that happened to me I’d lose it too.

It’s not discrediting to have feelings, to lash out when backed into a corner and it’s not for anyone to decide how she feels about the encounter but her. There are faults on both sides but this witch hunt against her is a massive part of why women still fear speaking out. It is still a very sexist and aggressive world out there.
